Okay i need help with this one,
I have a 3G ipad and placed my iphone 4 sim card and it worked (after a few config settings). Now AT&T emailed me saying it detected a sim card in the ipad and suggests to add a rate plan. What do I do?! If I continue using it will I get added an additional plan ontop of my iphone data plan? Can I ignore these emails & continue swapping sim card? Will my sim get deactivated? Will AT&T bust me? Help?

I don't know what you mean will they "bust you". They clearly know that you are using your iPhone sim in a iPad device.

You may be in breach of your terms and conditions you aggreed to with your phone plan, so yes if this was the case they could lilkey deactivate the sim, or they could just bill you seperatley for the data that you consume on the iPad by the megabite, which could be quite expencive.

Maybe you should play by the rules.
