Has anyone tired any of these places? I am just shopping around for extra memory for my mac pro. I know most people recommend macsales and dms, but Im just looking around. 1gig isnt kicking it for me. I need more!

Also, I've notice Crucial has memory for the mac pro again...

Where has other people bought some from?

Also, is this memory just expensive because it's new technology or will it cost about this much for a while?

Okay, great thanks.

I was just really wondering if anyone has bought anything from those 2 links I posted.

Crucial's 2x512MB FB-DIMM prices are currently the best available, unless you want to chance something without an Apple-similar heat sink.

OWC (http://www.macsales.com) and transintl.com sell 1GB sticks, transintl.com being the cheaper.

That memorytogo memory doesn't say anything about heatsinks, and I don't trust the heat spreader on the Omni stuff (which costs more than the others anyway).

thanks for all the repiles.

Do you guys think that the prices on the memory will drop - not like right away, but within a few months or something?
