I'm planning on getting an android tablet. Based on my research, The Asus Transformer Infinity is the best right now TF-700. Any reason why i should or shouldn't get it. And any other recommendations.

My budget is around $600. so i was planning on getting the 64GB model.

That really is the only option at this point in time. Low end is the Nex7 and high end would be the tf-700. Only 2 tablets outside of an iPad worth buying.

Nexus 7 if you just want to test the Android waters. $US250/$AU300 will net you the 16GB version. It's such a great little device. It'll get all the latest updates as soon as Google releases them too.

Only 2 tablets I feel are even worth it are the Nexus 7 and the iPad... I don't like the Android tablet OS. (Nexus 7 uses like a hybrid of phone/tablet and I enjoy that)

What about the Android tablet OS do you not like that still leaves the Nexus 7 as a viable option?

Mostly just the layout of it, I have no complaints about its functionality.

Nexus 7 and iPad are the two tablets I recommend anyone to buy.

It all depends on your needs and budget.

If the Galaxy Tab 2's ran Jelly Bean without TouchWiz, it'd be a beast of a tablet too. Especially, since that can take an SD card slot.

Nexus 7 Jelly Bean = Android tablet OS. It's the identical to Jelly Bean in its vanilla form on any Android tablet, the Xoom for example. Manufacture UI may change some stuff buts its the same thing the Nexus 7 has underneath...

Maybe I'm just not following you.
