Planning to buy Iphone - is a new iphone on its way?

Hi,

Am planning to buy an iphone ... Is a new one to be launched soon? How soon? Should I wait for the new iPhone? Your advice will be much appreciated 🙂 Thanks!
 
If you can wait, a updated iPhone ought to come out this summer, otherwise buy now.

Yes, there should/very likely will be a new iPhone. We're all thinking it will be announced at WWDC (June) and sold by July at the latest.

I'm waiting for the new iPhone.

For future reference, take a look at some of the threads. Often times similar topics can be found. (Was that so hard people?)

In 3-4 months we should see a new iPhoe from the news we've been reading lately.

I think you should wait for the new phone to see if it brings anything that interests you more than the current one. Some featues we know it will do better than the current one are camera/video. I think it will definitely have some additional difference to make sense to release a new model. It could get sleeker in design or little thicker with better battery, etc. No one knows for sure. So, better to wait if you can wait.

I personally couldn't wait. So, grabbed one off ebay 2-weeks back so I don't get stuck with 2-year contract. I will get the new one when it comes out if I enjoy my current iPhone till then.
