Even if I am okay with paying for a good game, I hate IAPs because they make me confused what I should purchase to have the "normal" game difficulty, as it was intended by game designers, without it being too easy or too hard.

The only thing IAPs should be used for IMHO is for additional levels, but never for items that make the gameplay easier. Difficulty should be either controlled in settings or levels should have variable goals - like simply completing the level versus completing it with three stars or something.

That is exactly what is happening in the PC game market...

Yeah, and sometimes I can't help but feel you have to pay extra just to get the full game.

Wanna know how everything ends? Buy the last level for just $4.99! Oh, yeah, we kinda threw a plot twist in there. We'll resolve that for another $4.99 if you please...

etc. etc.

So I always wait until the GOTY edition... this rule does not apply to Civilization though cuz they released a DLC even after GOTY and call it Gold edition.. now they released another...

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! Honestly... I had waited SO LONG to buy Civ5 and then BAM! Not 1 month later they release MORE. I hate to complain about superfluous content, but I just wish I could safely buy a complete product.

The only IAP that should allowed is to upgrade to a full game. None of this buy a box of crap for 99c or a bigger box of crap for 9.99.
