I'm in the same exact situation. I can't resist it for $1.99. I think it's being modified at the moment though.

I have played this game and many other tower defense games. The best in my opinion is Tower Madness HD. It is normally $7.99, but free right now (they are running some promotion). Unbelievable they are giving this game away for free for the next couple of days.
