I want to get a 42inch hd tv for my dad.. But my budget is tight.. I dont want ed.. only hd.. Are there any models for 1500? If so which ones...

$1500 is pushing it, and I am not sure it will be possible at this time (plasmas are coming down in price, but $1500 is ED range) With something this big (the actual screen that is :) ), you don't want to purchase from a website company you don't feel comfortable with. Checkout newegg.com and see what they have, but you may find something that is a professional model, which means it might not have the consumer type of hookups (i.e., BNC component vs RCA component hookups)
