I am about to get a plasma screen tv, and at some point I would like to hook my new macbook to it, and I have two questions. If I get a mini dvi cable to dvi, and then a dvi to hdmi, how much quality loss will I get, the second one, is that I have heard that because of DRM or some other form of copy protection, within hdmi, or whatever protocols it's using, I won't be able to play some media over hdmi through my mac book or the macbook won't be able to use the plasma as an output at all, is this true?

if ur tv is 1080p then you should be fine with that setup, but if your going to have a 720p tv then you can just use the vga hookup way which i do and 720p and 1080p mkv movies look awesome.
