Am I the only one who prefers to imagine this trackpad has a mustache? I've never seen one of these, simply amazing. You are gassing my up eBay/Goodwill Auction addiction hobby with all these beautiful plasticy thangs.

Oh, wait... plastic fantastic?! You can't get much more plastic than this, even if it is somewhat on the smallish side.... My fairly recently acquired 2400, having undergone some software installation. They keyboard is rather cramped, but it's not hard to see why these became a bit of a cult....

I don't use this every day, but it is used often, particularly after installing Office 4.2.1. It's a useful 'bridge' machine since it has a floppy drive (poorly designed, short and stiff cable) and PC Card slots on the back, and it runs beautifully - including about an hour of charge in the battery.
Only 16Mb RAM, and the original 1.3Gb HD - but a bit of a classic.
To the Club I present a machine that needs little introduction. The original Golden Mac. Of eBay Bargain fame and recently re-setup, of course I'm talking about the Six Dollar eMac.

No, it's 8.0. I don't know that 9.2.2 would run on this anyway - and probably not at all in 16Mb. 8.0 is good though. It's actually quite responsive, though I did consider regressing it to 7.6, which I think is the earliest it can run. That's rad! IS that 9.2.2 installed on it?
How is 16Mb RAM?

It's the best Unreal Tournament machine in the entire Lab! Not even the later PowerBooks can run it like the Six Dollar eMac. It's all in that refresh rate. That's pretty darn impressive for six dollars. I bet it's a lot of fun to play on, even now.
