Curious if there’s been any hands on yet to figure out what’s going on. Compared to last year‘s official Apple leather case, it looks like there’s maybe a plastic ring around the camera this year. Pretty disappointing if so! Also curious whether the leather case covers the entire bottom of the phone like the silicone one does this year.

Plastic ring around the camera module on iPhone 12 leather case?

Curious if there’s been any hands on yet to figure out what’s going on. Compared to last year‘s official Apple leather case, it looks like there’s maybe a plastic ring around the camera this year. Pretty disappointing if so! Also curious whether the leather case covers the entire bottom of the phone like the silicone one does this year.
I believe the silicon case also has a plastic lip. Not sure why.
Also, it does appear the bottom is covered based on full sized images I've seen of the old case and the new case.
I just wish they would create a place holder and tell us what the colors are going to be!
Maybe I’m in the minority here, but a plastic ring would go a long way to quickly destroy the premium look of a case that’s otherwise perfectly fit with metal buttons etc. Sad if this is indeed what they’ve gone with, and I wonder why.
But yeah, I gotta see them colors (even if I know I’ll end up going for saddle brown regardless
)
