Play Counts Not Updating Now in iTunes 11?? WTF?

I've just put on some music in iTunes and noticed that the "Last Played" date isn't updating. Some of the songs were new and have nothing in Last Played - even though I've just listened to them.

Other songs that I've played before have the date that I last played them before upgrading to v11 - not 1st December.

Edit.. Just found the other thread on this issue. This one ok to delete.
