Essentially, you'd use MakeMKV to decrypt and stream, and use VLC to pick up that decrypted stream and play it back for you. 😀

These Plextor drives should be good. I wish they had USB3 for ripping (for when we have TB to USB3 adapters).

I don't expect USB 3 would make a difference since these drives aren't capable of saturating USB 2.
