Playback iTunes library on iMac to bluetooth?

Maybe I'm just daft, but I can't seem to play my iTunes library on my iMac through bluetooth speakers?

I'm accessing the iTunes library via Apple's Remote App (yeah I know). All the songs appear on my iPad/iPhone, but when I hit play, it doesn't playback through the speakers.

I know my iOS devices are connected to the speakers as audio plays back from Youtube videos.
Am I missing something?
