I usually have a playlist that I listen to while I'm going to sleep. I have the charger plugged in (from the wall) and then a headphone cable going to external speakers. For some reason, it will stop playing either after one song, or several songs into the playlist. When I wake up in the morning it had stopped and not finished going through. Also, sometimes the play count doesn't show up on itunes, especially in the previous example. Is this happening to anyone else? I hope it gets fixed with the sdk update

Was your Playlist created On-The-Go from the iPod Touch, or was it created in iTunes and synced to your iPod? Are you sure everything you're syncing is actually getting onto the iPod?

Are you awake when it stops? What exactly happens? Does it just stop playing or does the iPod shut off completely?

Does the same thing happen when you listen to a group of songs during the day?

Is the iPod clean or is it jailbroken?

As far as the playlist, one was created as an on the go, while the other I just clicked on the album and let it play through. The only time I've caught it turn off is once on the on-the-go playlist, and it stopped playing after it finished the first song. The ipod didnt shut off, it just stayed in sleep mode. This hasn't happened to me when listening to music without the charger in and the screen turned on/off. I used to have it jailbroken on 1.1.2 but I upgraded to 1.1.3 and have restored it twice since then... so it's clean right now.
