playing entire itunes library one album after another

Hi there. I want to listen to all of my albums in itunes....but each album stops when it gets to the end. I'd prefer it goes on to the next one........how can I do this.? Shuffle seems to just play random tracks from different albums. Thanks.

I would think you’d need to go to your entire library, sort it by album, and hit play. If you have select albums in mind, make a playlist of those albums, and again, sort by album and play. I’m assuming you mean on a desktop machine and not something running iOS.

Ya ya....desktop. Ya I guess a playlist would work maybe. Haven't used those for years. I just hang out in my library "albums". =)

iTunes broke the ability to automatically continue on to the next album MANY versions ago, but, it is only broken in Album View.

Switch to Song View (which can be made to mostly resemble Album View with some effort) and it will continue on to the next album as intended.
