I down loaded a Music Giants HD song, Stevie Ray Vaughn With Albert King.

It is 16 Bits at 48 KSPS.

I tunes converted it to 16 bits 44.1 KSPS.

Does any one know how to configure Itunes so it keeps the original sample rate and bit depth but still will play the music? >:)

iTunes can't do songs with a sample rate greater than 48 kHz.

Even if it could, you would need a good quality DAC, a good amplifier, good speakers and good room acoustics to be able to hear the difference.

Plus you aren't missing much - 48 kHz and 44.1 kHz are almost indistinguishable.
