Playing Music question

So every time I hit the download it will download the entire song or album and start playing what it downloaded so far. Let's say I have a 16GB iPhone with about 14GB of actual free space(after OS + apps). So let's say I've downloaded 14GB of music through iCloud after a few months, will the next song I hit "Play" on tell me I have no more storage or what?

It will start deleting the songs that were played first (longest time ago).
