iPod Playlists song count discrepancy

I have a few specialized playlists in iTunes. One playlist (Christmas) has 325 songs in iTunes, however on my iPad and iPhone 4 that playlist is only 323 songs and on my iPod Classsic the same playlist is only 268 songs. iTunes is set to sync the entire music library to the iPod so I am not understanding why the playlist is missing so many songs.

Some of the pther playlists are showing similar discrepancies, but most playlists are correct on each device.

Could it be that you are out of space on the devices and it's only syncing whatever amount it could fit in on each device?

Nope, the iPad and iPhone each have 13.2GB free and the iPod has 58GB free
