iPod Playlists

How do you just sync a single playlist to your iPod?
Also how do you pick movies you want to sync to your ipod?
I would like to upload 1 playlist to my iPod and a few movies.

In iTunes, select your iPod. Then, under music, tell it to sync only selected playlists, and check only that playlist. Then do the same for movies, only select the movies you want on your iPod.

Do I have to create playlists for the Movies? Or just check and uncheck them?

No, just select the individual movies

Movies usually show up individually for you to check/uncheck. Same with TV shows (or you can set it to newest unwatched only if you have, say, a season pass).
