Playstation 3 as a media centre with a Mac

I'm completely new to the console market and was considering getting a PS3. The primary purpose being, of course, games and Blu-Ray.

But I was wondering whether I could use the PS3 as a media centre with my Mac? I watch a lot of video piped in from a Macbook plugged into the TV with a cable. It's mostly DivX stuff, etc.

Is there something that will let me stream video wirelessly from my Mac to the PS3? I understand there is something for the Xbox that lets you do that.

Any advice and suggestions welcomed!
