http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/12/european-vita-ps-store-offering-rotating-game-sales-through-july/ Could be cool! Though I've already got all the games mentioned so far![]()
My gravity rush has just shipped from PlanetAxel too.
Wonderful site!
So is your Vita from the US, or are some games region free now?
Euro Vita here, however All Vita games are region free![]()
However!!! In case of some titles the online part can be affected. I couldn't activate my online portion of the Hot Shot's Golf (it has an online pass) because there is no reference to it on Euro store, where we have Everybody's Golf.
That's the only title I've had the problem with. So for safety avoid games with lots of multiplayer, but Gravity Rush should be same game as Euro version and as ts mostly single player it's not an issue, plus it's €20 cheaper from PlanetAxel![]()

Gravity Rush has DLC the first of which was included as a preorder bonus from certain retailers. It's mainly different costumes for the main character Kat but still kind of nice to have. I got my Gravity Rush from Asda for £25 for that reason. Asda"s price is slightly cheaper and also includes free shipping like Planet Axel. Plus you can get all the DLC if you want.
That's a good price too. Do you know if Asda ship outside of UK by chance ?
Anybody buying the lego batman game for the vita....I'm kinda interested.
Bless
no and I refuse to buy it on the Vita after being burned with Lego Harry Potter 5-7 on Vita.
A game I paid 45 for thinking it would be based on the PS3/360 version at least. Turned out it was just a higher res version of the 3DS title. Lazy ass port.
Did TT handle the port? I'll be seeing a bunch of them next week, I'll pass along your views.
Dunno about other regions but we get Wipeout HD and Fury DLC for the Vita tomorrow.
Thankfully I'm not resurrecting this thread from that long ago, but I've been researching the Vita more and more after messing around with my PSP 3000 the other day. One thing occurred to me after I found out Sony switched the memory cards again. Why hasn't anyone put an injunction on Sony for switching up hardware compatibility on it's own products? I mean this in regards to the rule that all cell phone's now have to be able to be charged via a USB adaptor. They should make a ruling for some sort of standard on memory cards changing, especially within your own product line.
Anyway, I'm looking into getting one hopefully, but I'm debating whether I should wait for the inevitable slim design as an early reply stated or just a general price drop at the end of the first year. Right now, I'm happy with the PSP and my iPhone/iPad games so they should tide me over until either of those scenarios happen.
I heard one reviewer say it wasn't as easily portable as the original PSP, saying it was bulkier/longer and wasn't as easy to get into some pockets? Does that stop any of you current owners from taking your PSP out with you?
I carry mine everywhere, it fits easily into a pocket or my purse. As to the injunction idea, that only really works when dealing with an industry (re: charging cables), individual companies can dictate their own system and peripheral designs. It would be like expecting an injunction because you can't use your PS2 controllers on a PS3 natively. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass, and the Vita memory is more expensive than the PSP was. Tho I found the Vita's access to its memory card noticeably faster than my old PSP, but that could just be the CPU difference.
PSP memory cards would have taken up too much valuable space inside the Vita. I didn't really mind having to buy a memory card for the Vita, they aren't that much extra on top of what you pay for the vita. Though I have noticed by reading various forums and comments that people claim to be holding off buying a Vita because they don't want to pay extra for a memory card. Sony should put together a decent bundle, like when the PSP launched, the "Value Pack" was a really ace idea, with a nice pouch and lanyard etc.
With regard to a price drop, not this year! - http://uk.gamespot.com/news/sony-no-ps-vita-price-cut-this-year-6391930
And the inevitabe slim Vita will not come out anytime soon if history is anything to go by. Maybe in a couple of years.

There's several bundles that include memory cards;
Console bundles; Some retailer exclusives, Madden bundle, Assassin's Creed Bundle (October... and the Vita is white!)
Accessory bundles; I know sony does one that's a vita case, game case, ear buds and a memory card
I understand that retailers are doing bundles, I am talking about Sony doing a bundle with the memory card and other accessories in the box with the console (just like the PSP value pack). Then there would be a universal offer that all customers could see available to them, not just certain retailers.
The PSP had a Value Pack version at launch.I believe the PSP Value Pack didn't start till the PSP2000 launch, but i could be remembering wrong.
Yeah, and like I said, Sony has "Welcome to Vita bundles"; earbuds, case for the Vita, case for games, and a 4GB memory card for like $35.

with more games to come.
Gonna need me a bigger Vita memory card.
