Ive seen so many people now take their iphones and other electronics to the beach and swimming pool. If water like that gets into your iphone the chance on it working again is not alot.
However i dont get that no one recommends people to use demi-water. I work at a company thats about cleaning water and have used this solution quite some times myself(at others and once myself).
If your iphone gets in water, its most likely damaging your iphone.
So buy demi-water (that is water with nothing inside of it) and put your iphone in a bowl with it and shake it around, this will remove most of the minerals that will damage your iphone.
