I have a family plan for Apple Music. My husband and daughter have separate Apple id's under my main iTunes id. Everything I've read says that if signed in under separate id's we should have separate playlists and libraries, but we don't. We all have each other's playlists and can see the entire iTunes library. We do have family share set up, and I also have iTunes Match. I've made sure everyone is signed into iCloud, iTunes, and Apple Music with their own id's. Is there something I'm missing? Why do we not have just our own playlists and library? Thanks in advance.

I have a family subscription, my wife and I have completely separate libraries in  Music.

It sounds like you haven't setup Family Sharing. Set up Family Sharing first, then each individual Apple ID will automatically be upgraded to  Music. iMore also has a great tutorial on this (link).

I have set up family sharing. It was set up prior to joining Apple Music. We are all signing into iCloud, iTunes/apps, and Apple Music with our own separate Apple id's.

If everyone is signed in via separate Apple IDs--including the iTunes & App Store ID--then I can't think of any reason you would be seeing each others' playlists. Prima facie, it sounds like each device is signed in under the same Apple ID.
