PLEASE HELP, apps wont open!!

Got the new 3GS friday, has worked perfectly, love it....

Just did the AIM 3.0.1 update, i go to open it and it closes immediately.

and guess what, ALL my 3rd party apps do that now!!!!!!!!! WTF

deleted AIM, reinstalled, ive done power cycles, left it off for a while, but no matter what no 3rd party app will open for more than .2 secs.

am i just going to have to restore or what? 😕 😕

not jailbroken either.

No. You don't have to restore it.

Connect to iTunes>Applications
Uncheck sync applications.
Sync your iPhone without them, check it again and resync.


This happened to me too.

Go to the app store on your iPhone and download/buy any app (even free app), let it download and that should fix your problem.

I had the same issue running the 3.0 Beta. It haas to do with how you restored/set-up the new phone.
