Please help: Are these temps too high?

mid 2013 MBPr with 2.7 GHz i7 processor, using a huge fan powered cooling pad...

temps are 73 C when the computer is not even doing anything

temps are about 85 C when a browser is open and playing 1 youtube video

If these temps are too high, how can I convince Apple to help me out?

How hot does it get under load? Mine gets to 90-95c under load.

With a cooling fan, it seems a bit high.

Under heavy load, it is usually 97-105 C. With or without a cooling fan, I pretty much get the same temp readouts from both smcfancontrol and iStat.

That doesn't sound good, mine doesn't get that hot and I don't even use a cooling pad.

Get it checked out.
