Please help Convince me to Switch!

i remember when our college got some new PC's - i think they were specially configured for audio (EMU-PC or something) i thought they would be pretty good but after losing some of my recordings several times and having the things come up with stupid "this application has performed an illigal operation" error msg crap almost twice a day, i really do feel sorry for people doing audio work (and almost anything else) on PC's

I think one of the big reasons Apple's platform is superior is it's free applications that make the machine ready for use out of the box.

You will not find free software that's comparable on the Windows side.

I run ME (while my DP 867 is on the way) and this friggin' thing crashes every time I get online.

But that is just the way I see it!
