please help i'm having trouble eraising pics from my sd card on a mac!

Help please!
Whenever i try to erase the pictures i have on my SD card on my mac its like i erase them and it appears to be empty, but when i check the SD info it looks like i havent done anything it looks like the info is still there but there is nothing on the card and the only way i can fix this is by formating the SD card on a pc... Is anything wrong with my mac? my camera? or my sd card?

Did you empty the trash after deleting them?

Why don't you erase them with your camera?

yeah empty your trash while the sd card is attached to the computer and they'll be gone after that
