My ip4 was running 5.1.1 and was Jailbroken. I just tried to update to iOs 6 and now my iPhone is stuck in recovery mode. Now I can't get it out of recovery mode. All it is showing is plug into itunes. I have tried Tinyumbrella and everything with no luck. When I click restore in iTunes it says The iphone could not be restored. This device isnt eligible for the requested build. I am using A Macbook pro running Lion. HELP!!!!!

Make sure your hosts file points to apples servers.
Use TU and go to settings to allow a clean restore from apple.
Then put it in DFU mode and restore it.
