I have a mid-2010 macbook pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
I recently bought a belkin 'macbook' to HDMI but it's not working please help!!

did you get a thunderbolt to HDMI cable? or a mini display to HDMI cable?
your computer uses MiniDisplay.
