This has got to be simple i just have never done it before...

I got a M-Audio Firewire Solo today, installed the software, updated software and firmware for leopard, everything seems to work the light is on it is recognized by the software but i can't hear or record any audio

here is the mixer tab in the software

i was plucking a string in the first picture and it shows it gets input from the guitar on the second channel, i don't think i need to select any of the "out" buttons because i am only connecting to my computer correct?

the only thing i am really sure of in here is the sample rate and that the s/pdif doesn't matter because im not using that connection. I don't know what the "sync source" does and whenever i uncheck the "show solo's stereo pairs as devices", garageband says "the audio device has been disconnected".

figured it out i just disconnected the stuff and reconnected

also i didn't even think about it but you have to change the settings on the actual computer too in sound preferences
