Please Help Me Convert .ISO to .DMG

Hello all!
I am trying to convert a .ISO file to a .DMG file using the iso to dmg hdiutil convert /path/imagefile.iso -format UDRW -o /path/convertedimage.dmg
command in Terminal.
However every time i enter the command it says permission denied.
anyone know why this is?

I'm no terminal genius, but try putting 'sudo' before the command and then try sending it.

Buy the actual software or rip it from the actual disk.
