please help me decide about my mbp yellowing screen issue...please

🙁🙁🙁i hope you guys can help me sort this out, you see, my mbp arrived last july 12 and i didn't really noticed anything unusual with my mbp screen, until i've come across the threads in this forum, i tried the gray and black photo test, and i noticed a subtle darker, more dirty white color on the bottom square, the darker color, is more apparent in the gray photo than the black test photo, does this make a difference? here is the photo i took with my n70, (unfortunately, i didn't have my camera with me now) so the photos are a little not clear,

i rotated the 4th photo vertically.

the yellow hues is a little more darker in the photos than the actual. so i also tried to post in other forums, and ask for their advice, or if they see anything yellow, but all of them said they never noticed anything unusual, here's the link of the forum that i posted:

funny, because, i can really see the yellowing in the photos, but the people their doesn't even notice? i'm afraid that if return this back in the apple store, i don't know, they might think i'm crazy, or color blind or something?

and my main dillema here is, if i return this and got a replacement if ever, i'm afraid i might get something worse, like with more yellower bottom, dead pixels, kernel panics(which in this one, i didn't experienced yet).
but in the other hand, if i didn't get this replaced for example, i just wonder what bad thing does the yellow thing can do overtime? can it get much worser as in much yellower as time goes by? those are my fears, so i really don't know what to do, to return or not to return....

i really hope you guys can help me decide.. please guys, ive been losing sleep because of this....

To me, it looks like your looking for something wrong. You say you didn't notice until you saw others with this 'problem' so its surely a non-issue.

Your photos do nothing to convince me.

Dude, I have the same issue. I idnt even notice it until I read about it here. It is SOOO faint as to barely even be noticeable. In fact you cant even tell when using the computer..this means its a non issue. Be happy an enjoy the mpb.

Dont be a loser and return the thing like these other OCD having freaks...

hi, thanks for the reply, i'm just wondering what bad thing could happen with the yellow thing there, i mean, could it get worse as time goes by? or yellower in the future?

My screen is very similar to yours and I haven't gone in for a replacement. If I look at it from a normal viewing angle I don't even see the problem. If I lower my eyes to be more in line with the bottom of the screen I can see a slight yellowing, but how often am I looking at the screen that low? I didn't even notice the problem until I loaded the test pattern.

Personally, I feel if this is as big of an issue as this forum is making it appear Apple will have a solution shortly. They'll either put out a firmware update that somehow tweaks the backlight or post a KB article stating to contact them if your screen is yellow. At that time I will contact Apple, but I'm not going to go through a number of exchanges just to get a perfect screen.
