Please help me with my leopard problems/questions (just installed)!

1. There are no icons in my menu bar except spotlight (which finished indexing)

2. Restart, Shut Down, and LogOut are all unresponsive when I click them. I've had to hard reset the past couple times since installing Leopard.

3. At times, my menu bar and Hard Drive icon on my desktop completely disappears. Only when I open an application or finder does it come back (still with missing icons in the menu bar).

Backup your personal data + apps, then do an Erase & Install.

Backup your personal data + apps, then do an Erase & Install.

I'd try an Archive and Install first, you don't lose your data that way.

Hmmm. I once again hard restarted and now everything is working perfectly. Scared to restart (the proper way ) cause I dont want it to regress.
