Please Help? Microsoft Office 08 product key

i've read most of the threads about removing the product key for a new one.
ive found the

Macintosh HD:Applications:Microsoft Office 2008:Office:OfficePID.plist and deleted it

but i cant find the

(folder called "Microsoft" at ~/Library/Preferences/) 😕

i have the Mac Version 10.5.8

Cant do any of my homework without it 🙁

Download open office. It's compatible with all office formats, and it's free.

Run the uninstaller which is located in:

/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Outils supplémentaires/Supprimer Office

Which translates as

/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Extra tools?/Uninstall Office

Or something like that.
