A few weeks back I upgraded to Lion and since then have noticed an odd issue when my mouse is in specific spots on the screen. No matter what application is running, and even when no application is running, there are pop up boxes like you would find if you moused over something in a web browser. It is always the same words in the same place. I have run an antivirus program and didn't find anything. Called applecare and they did not know. I have attached screenshots for reference. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few things you can do. First make sure you have quit everything and see if its still there. Second try reseting the PRAM.

Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6. Release the keys.
