PLEASE HELP! <Pages> Question!

I have a grant application due in an hour which is done but everytime I pressed enter to form a new paragraph on pages it skips a line! How do I get rid of this!?😱

Select the text, click the Inspector button in the tool menu (the blue circle with the 'i' in it), select the Text tab, and reduce the before and after paragraph spacing values to 0.

To add this as a style, make these changes, then select View->Show Styles Drawer, select the paragraph (or more than one), click the '+' button at the bottom of the Styles Drawer, and add it as a style.

If you hit shift+enter you can make a new paragraph without skipping any lines. I use this feature quite a bit.
