Hi people, I hope you can help me out with some advice with what to do. I just bought a 30" cinema display and I should be happy but for some reason I am not.

1. There is a red colored looking pixel in the top middle of the screen on a white background. It also appears when on a green background. not noticeable on other colors like black, red background. Is this dead or stuck?

I've tried massaging it, tapping it, and stuff but it doesn't go away.

Should I bring it back to the store and return it?

it's hard to justify my decision when the screen has a problem.

went to the apple store today. They exchanged it no questions asked. Didn't even bother opening up the old ACD to check for the dead pixel

They let me test and inspect the new one before leaving the store. I expected some dead pixels on the side but it was flawless :D Can't believe my luck. I am a very happy guy right now.
