Please help! Question?

I have an Imac 2.1 GHz running Leopard 10.5.8. I am considering a new Mac, but would at least like to know where and how to check my battery meter. I have been looking everywhere, and I cannot find my battery meter anywhere! Could someone please tell me where to check my batter meter? I think I need to replace it. Any help will truly be appreciated! Thank you!! 🙂

iMacs do not have batteries. It has to be plugged into the wall.

But there's usually a tiny battery that keeps the clock running, but why would you bother with a meter for it?
