Please help with 3GS

Here's what I have:

iPhone 3GS 16gb
Firmware 3.01
Modem Firmware 04.26.08

I would like to jailbreak and unlock this device before selling. What would be the easiest route? Can I jailbreak 3.01 with spirit or blackra1n?

Yes, JB with blackrain and unlock with ultrasnow thru cydia.

The firmware he has on there now, gives the buyer a lot of play potential.

Its up to the OP to decide what he wants to do and what he's comfortable with.
Its very simple to run one program to JB on the firmware that he's on and then unlock thru cydia.
If he wants to go thru 20 steps in order to sell it unlocked and JB on 4.0 that also available.
He just said he wants to jailbreak and unlock.

unlocked+jailbroken 3GS will net more money on craigslist right?

Since it is on 3.01 should I leave it alone and let the buyer deal with it?
