Hi, I am looking to buy BOSE Companion 5 to use with my iPod.

However, it includes only an USB cable to connect to the computer. But I don't want it. Is it possible to connect BOSE companion 5 directly to my iPod?

    Thanks.

    from the cnet review
    and from bose.com
so yes you can hook your iPod directly to it, you need to go to radio shack or elsewhere and get a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable (looks like the plug on your headphones, but one on each end of the cable)
    try reading a bit further.

I highly recommend the Bose Companion 5!

You absolutely can use it with your iphone and ipod but as you do own a macbook, do yourself a favour and give it a try! fire up a dvd and enjoy,...
i think its phenomenal for a 2.1 system......

    good luck

Don't get the 5. Listen to the Companion 3 first.

I absolutely agree that you should certainly listen to both the 3s and the 5s at the same time in an A/B comparison setting. I did and that is what convinced me to pay the extra for the 5s! ;)
