Please help with Parallels no longer working

    Above is the screenshot of what happens when I try to run parallels now. Everything is a legit copy...with Windows 7 starter. It used to work fine, now it just shows that bar and none of the programs run anymore.

    From your screen shot, it looks as though you're running in Coherence mode. I had the same issue a few weeks back.

    First of all, try Exiting Coherence and then go back in to Coherence. I've found this fixes the problem temporarily.

    Also, try re-installing the Parallels Tools. Since doing this, I find it happens a lot less.

    I still get the issue occasionally but only once a week tops

    Thanks. That didn't work for me. What I had to do was shut down parallels like you would windows then reboot.
