Please help with wireless printing

My printer is connected to the pc, pc to wireless router, and now I want to connect it to my new macbook. On the add printer part i get pretty far. It recognizes the printer and then it asks me

"Connecct to the printer "Your-C1535....." as:
Name:
Password:


what do i put in here? I have tried putting in nothing.. and its not working

I don't know what printer that is - if it's a non-postscript one, you may need a third-party driver. If you need help for that, please come back with the printer brand/model number.
