So I messed up the first activation and you guys say you are trying over and over.. How do you try again? Where do I go in iTunes or on the phone to try and activate it again?

How did you "mess up" the activation? It's either activated or its not. Connecting it to your computer and launching iTunes will start the activation process if it isn't activated.
 
I originally started the activation from the phone out of the box.. It was taking a while so I plugged it into iTunes and it then stopped the activation process on the phone. Now when I plug it in to iTunes it acts like a normal iPhone, with no options to activate so I restored the iPhone and plugged it in again...the phone says no service.. My old iPhone 4 is still in service and on iTunes under Phone Number it say N/A
