no one can call for you as no one here has the computer to go step by step in diagnostics. It could be a logicboard issue as well. You will just have to call them back to get help.

Why is indicating where you're located such a problem? Why can't you contact Apple yourself? You're probably going to have to get it serviced at an Apple dealer by the sounds of it.

i will figure something out. again thank you all and you have a point im sorry
but im amazed how it all started.
i was copying around 300gb files from a hardisk, could that be it ? i mean maybe a virus file or; but c'mon it's a mac.
how could it happen..?
cause i know its not a proper issue.

Nope definitely not a virus.

I'm thinking either your HD or logic board is a dud. Apart from calling apple and warrantying the machine for another one, I think you're out of luck. If someone you know has a hard drive you could borrow you could try sticking it in and installing OS X on it.

Ok. He is clearly afraid of calling Apple because he bought it and took it back to his country so he doesn't think they will help him. If it makes him feel better he can say he was working in America, or wherever he bought it and he brought it back with him. Now it sounds to me like it also might be a Ram issue. I don't think the machines boot if the Ram is not working properly. So maybe the best thing to do is this. take the small screws out of the back. Remove the hard drive and try it in an external usb case to see if the hard drive works. While the machine is open, take out the ram and reseat it. Maybe they came loose in the trip back to his country. Try one stick of Ram then the other. Reset the Pram and the SMC for good measure. I have a feeling that the poster earlier was correct and it just may be a dead hard drive. It could be the battery, but I think it would still work off the power supply if the battery was dead. Try this and get back to us. By the way what "status" light are you talking about. I wasn't aware that Macbook Pros had a status light unless I missed something.

There are no Apple Stores in Libya?
You should check out apples website for telephone support in your country. Should you not find a number for your country then I'd say you're screwed.

Well, even if there are no Apple stores in your country, you are entitled to support. I remember bringing back to Spain an iPod from the US (for a friend) and there were no Apple stores at that point. After a couple of months, my friend had some problem with the iPod and found some contact info for Spain in the Apple website. Called the guys, which were like Apple authorized resellers or something like that, and the got the problem fixed for him.
Your computer comes with 1 year international guarantee, so use it.

I can't fathom why the OP won't call Apple, or post where he's located?

Interesting twist and hypothesis. Awaiting further developments from the One who Can't Call or Disclose Location and seems otherwise Dodgy.
