Please oh god...help me!! (iBook screen)

i have a mac ibook..and the screen is like halfway on there..and halfway not..the left two inches of the screen is blue...and everything is blurry except the background....please please help me

Sounds like a hardware issue. Take it back to Apple. Have you dropped the machine or anything like that?

But with iBooks and screen problems, look to see if your machine is in the extended warranty program.

i am doing an important video edit...and i have not saved the work and i cant see anything on the screen....i took out the battery...and i rebooted twice....by the way...i am on another computer

At this point I think you can safely assume that you've lost your work.

Try the external monitor as suggested.
