Hi,

I'd appreciate it if people who own both phones would do a direct comparison of the same low-light scene taken with the 6s vs the 7, both video and still pictures. This is the only reason for me to consider upgrading to the 7.

Thank you!

Would love to see these as well! Or against the 6, even, if that's what you have...

Well mark my words there's not much improvement. I'm going to say the 7 camera is only 2% better. And the comparison pics will prove that. And if there is, it's probably coz they used another digital camera.

I can do low-light of Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 7 tonight. I hope it's at least on par with the Samsung phone I'm upgrading from.

I had the S7 and went back to the 6s. Why? Because the color balance was off in general, and esp at night it was yellow tinted. Everything was brighter for sure, like twice as bright, but many objects such as lights were overexposed big time.

It felt to me as if Samsung said, you want bright night scenes, well i'll give it to you. That's what I thought that I wanted, too. But then I never realized that color balance was equally important.

So call me nuts, but I thought the S6 camera was really nice, but not the S7. Daytime shots were oversharpened, too. Easily able to tell. Made me feel like the 6s camera was the best in most situations and very reliable, even if I was bummed about the nighttime performance.
