I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro 13" about three months ago and just went to hook up my Firewire Audio Interface for the first time to realize that my laptop doesn't have Firewire. DUH.....

So how can I make this work? HELP.
 
What model year is it? As far as I knew all 13" Macbook Pros had Firewire 800:

If your audio interface is Firewire 400:

Then you'll need a Firewire 800 to Firewire 400 adapter:
