Keep the 16" MBP or P53...

I know they are apples to oranges but as clunky and outdated as some of there features are they are a power house. if I have it in clamshell connected to a couple displays I am thinking I would not be bothered by the clunkiness.

Anyone have experience with the P53's?

Why would you want to be talked out of it?
If P53 works for you, keep it. If MBP16 works for you, keep that one.

It's rather simple :)

You're right, apples and oranges, the P53 serves a purpose and the MBP serves a different purpose. Also one runs windows, the other runs macOS. What is your intended usage, its hard to make recommendations without know how it needs to be used

The P53 is a beautiful beast in my eyes, I'd love to own one. However a couple of the (relative) cons:
  1. Vastly inferior trackpad
  2. 16:9 aspect ratio screens (bothers me more than most apparently)
  3. Even though it's bulkier than MBP, it's cooling solution can be noisy and some throttling may still occur, depending on CPU/GPU specced (I've read).
