Few weeks back this question was asked by few members that Do We Need New Case and Screen Protector Thread every year.

I like that idea as well. Particularly on a year when I suspect fewer people are going to upgrade than usual, and there’s a possibility the prior year’s cases will work on the new phone.

One continuous thread is better, since cases don't change annually. If I'm looking for a case, especially for an older device, the continuous thread would be more helpful.
