Yesterday I went on launch day to a Premium reseller in my country, at 4 pm. Walked in and out with my phone in 5 min. XS max 64 gb. Not many people around. I might have lucked as the FedEx guy was literally leaving the store but still, way too easy for launch day.

Man, I wish mine looked like that. There were so many people both yesterday (at 2pm) and today (at 10am), it took forever.

Same at the one I went to yesterday for my pre order pickup. Took almost a half hour before I got into the store.

Stock looks to be plentiful at most stores around me too. So for those that are still waiting. Go to your local store and cancel your pre order!

Easiest I got an iPhone ever on launch day. 20 minute wait in and out the door. I did not ever get to the store till 10:30am.

My phone was delivered via UPS yesterday. But today I went to my NH store to return an Apple leather case I received and also to purchase AppleCare. I figured there would be a line or wait. Not the case. Lots of sales people waiting sround to help. I was in and out in around 5 minutes.

So if I go by my Apple store do I have any hope of getting an XS Max (that shows in stock) if my IUP phone is currently in the UPS system somewhere ?

Depends on where you live. In my area, I checked this morning out of curiosity. And I found at the time at least, there was plenty of stock from Apple, Verizon, Best Buy etc. I was shocked. Now they may have sold out since. But that was unusual for me to see.

Wow, plenty of 256 XS Max space grey available in the LA area for in store pickup today. I'm waiting on a delivery for Monday...

The need to send the stock to London, ASAP.

It was anarchy today, store employees mentioned it was better then yesterday.
I was shocked.

It’s been a slow reaction in the UK as a lot of sources are suggesting. Even the flagship store in London had very little queue which highlights that Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester were not alone in very need for a crowd barrier.

The carriers are even offering freebies and deals which I’ve never seen before. My local EE store had a board out saying you can get a free pair of airpods or beats X if you get an Xs or max and Vodaphone were offering a series 4 Apple Watch if you traded in an older iPhone when upgrading.

It’s good to see as it’s never been something I’ve seen with iPhones before as they’ve pretty much sold themselves in the past. A lad on our factory floor bought the XS Max on a three year deal with EE so I’m looking forward to looking at that once I’m back from Berlin. One thing is for certain and that is stock is the best it’s ever been. People are either not buying it as much as previous devices or Apple have at least tripled their supply chain. Good news for consumers either way if they want the phone.

I got a free beats X last year with my iPhone 8+ from EE, no idea why you think this is new.

So you give Vodafone your old iPhone and they give you a free Apple Watch. What’s wrong with that?

So many 256GB available for the XS Max!

I'm not surprised 512 is the most sold-out since it's the largest capacity, but 256 is nothing to sneeze at.
512 GB XsMax is the “true” Xs‘MAX’ because it has the maximum size and storage which makes it the ultimate XsMax. 64 and 256 are “NOT” true Xs”Max” because they do not have “Max(maximum)” storage although they inherit the maximum size.

To be truly having and experiencing “true” ‘MAX’, 512 GB XsMax is the only one that can provide. Fortunate and bravo for me and others who can own the “true” XsMAX 512 GB since the launch day.

Yes, plenty of stock at different stores in my area for the 64 or 256. No 512 sizes though. Those are sold out. But for those of us that don’t need a 512 size hard drive on their phone. Shouldn’t be that hard to find one out there.

I hope you forgot ''/s'' at the end of your post....or else

I wouldn’t use the 512GB.

On my 256GB max I’ve only used 140GB but when I looked at my storage there was about 50GB of podcasts the majority of which were old podcasts that I’ve already listened to and just hadn’t deleted yet. So when I deleted all of the podcasts I had only used 100GB.

Utter rubbish about the "True Max only in 512GB".

The word ‘Max’ is in reference to the size of the device and replaced the word ‘Plus’ in effect.

Regardless of what storage option a person decides on it’s still the same phone and experience as the smallest option. I’ve never bought more than a 64GB iPhones as I’ve never needed that much storage and enjoy storing certain data in iCloud. My experience with any of my phones has been no different to someone with a slightly bigger storage model so not sure what you think you’re getting at here? Wind up maybe?

I would imagine the 512GB version would be supplied to each Apple Store in smaller numbers due to historical demand and price. It wouldn’t make sense to have the same inventory as the 64GB initially.

I like the cut of your jib.
